Customer demand
-The customer used the mini moter in the ice cream vending machine, they contacted us during the sample testing phase, they were experiencing performance problems with the motors they were using and had other higher requirements for the dc motor with gearbox.
-Performance: The gearbox gears of the motor had broken teeth, but the torque of the dc gearmotor tested was sufficient to drive the equipment. They don't understand what the problem is.
-The customer soldered the connecting wires themselves and the small gear motor was mounted in a position that caused the wiring to break easily.
-After getting the micro dc motor, the customer added the shaft couplings, connecting wires and terminals, and hope we can provide one-stop customized service.
Redesign
-We tested and analyzed the customer's geared dc motor and the usage scenario rigorously, and found that the performance parameters of the dc motor gear motor are true, but the customer used a mechanical limit switch to control the motor forward and reverse, which, combined with the inertia of the motor operation, will generate a very large load demand, far beyond the carrying capacity of 12 volt dc motor high torque used before.
-We recommended a larger size, higher torque of other styles of motors, but the customer has already done a complete set of design for the previous brushed dc motors, can only accept the size of the motor is about the same.
-For this special case, our engineering department customized a high torque dc electric motor for the customer without changing the size of the motor. Tests have shown that the enhanced motor has more than 50% more load bearing capacity than the previous dc gearmotors.
Starting from the need
In response to the customer's own welding conductor easy to break the problem, under normal circumstances, our production department welding will not appear such a problem, but after discussing with the customer, we re-designed a wiring board, using a safer, more reliable male and female wiring, to fundamentally eliminate the problem of poor contact.

-The customer had purchased additional shaft couplings to interface with the ice cream vending machine, so we customized the motor output shaft to match the interface, which reduced the installation space, the cost of additional purchases and the assembly time.
-Finally, our production department also customized the specifications of the wiring, terminal blocks requested by the customer, and delivered the new low speed electric motor to the customer at the agreed time.
Results
-After 2 months of testing, the customer was very satisfied with our samples. After that, this customer not only used our motors for this model, but also used our other low speed high torque electric motor for other vending machines.
-The customer's team of engineers had a thorough knowledge of their design and equipment, but we had more experience with specific motor-related designs and were able to help optimize their project, reducing existing costs and potential future risks.
