Brushed DC motors have advantages such as high efficiency, miniaturization, electric drive, and low manufacturing cost. The emergence of brushless DC motors solves these problems.


Brushed DC motors use brushes and commutators for current switching, while brushless DC motors use sensors and electronic circuits for current switching.

Why is a brushless motor better

High power density: high torque brushless motor structure is more compact, under the same volume, it can brush out a higher number of revolutions and torque, it can output the maximum torque when starting, and there is no mechanical commutator limitation, it has a smaller rotor inertia when running, it can respond to the change of control signals quickly to realize fast starting, stopping and speed change, and it performs well in the application scenarios that require frequent starting, stopping and fast speed change, such as robot joint drive, power tools, etc.

High control precision: small brushless motor speed and steering are precisely controlled by the electronic governor, which can realize the precise adjustment of the motor speed and meet the high-precision requirements for speed regulation in different application scenarios, such as in the transmission system of automated production lines, the motor speed can be precisely controlled according to the requirements of the production process, so as to ensure the stability of the product quality.
