Planetary gear motor consists of a motor and a planetary gearbox. The gearbox is composed of a central sun gear, planetary gears or satellite gears on a carrier plate, and a fixed outer ring gear.
Planetary gear reducer generally has higher transmission efficiency and a larger reduction ratio than ordinary reducers. Thus, it can provide greater output torque under the same power. Meanwhile, its design is more compact with relatively smaller weight and volume, facilitating use and installation.
Planetary gearbox with motor has high efficiency, low noise and high torque, so it is widely used in fields such as robotics, automation and medical equipment.
