-Our American customer is a long-established manufacturer of farm automation equipment, and the automated chicken coop door is one of their bestsellers.

-Their engineers found us through a Google search and wanted us to help them solve the problem of unstable current in the DC gear motor from their previous supplier.

-The unstable current during the dc brushed motor's operation would easily cause the signal of their supporting circuit board to be unstable, which would eventually cause the automatic chicken coop not to work accurately.

Solution

-The previous gear reduction motor would not stabilize the current but fluctuate slightly up and down after a period of no-load operation, and this was worse after load.

-Our engineers, with years of experience, quickly found a solution by machining the shaft with an improved solution and using better quality bearings.

Results

-Finally, we tested the brand new small dc motor samples with test equipment and the current reached stability without fluctuation. The customer was very satisfied with the test results and purchased our geared motor immediately.

-At a much lower overall cost, the cooperation with Bringsmart dc electric motor has made the customer's equipment more stable, reduced after-sales costs, and expanded the market share.

Stage 1

Clarify feasibility

-The customer said that the torque and speed of the previous 12v electric motors is enough to adapt to their equipment, gave a previous 12 volt dc motor parameters specification table, our engineers found that the previous motor data may have errors.

-In response to the customer's request that the current of the brush dc motor should not fluctuate during no-load, the engineering department, based on more than 10 years of customization experience, fully communicated with the customer and identified the problem.

Stage 2

Testing and redesign

-Engineers insisted on getting the previous small dc electric motors from the customer and tested it with our dynamic torque test equipment. A real test report was obtained.

-Our production department also produces compliant low rpm motor samples according to the customer's requirements, and conducts parameter tests on the same test equipment, and finds that our performance can meet the customer's requirements.

-In fact, we have helped many customers to solve the problem of current fluctuation, which may be caused by the unstable quality of high-speed motors, the use of poor-quality bearings, gearbox lubricating oil mismatch, gearbox output shaft production process problems, and so on.

After communicating with the customer and combining with the previous samples, we use special process to process the shaft and use better quality bearings, the customer is very satisfied with our test video.

Stage 3

Results and relationships

-After the customer received the 12 volt dc electric motor, we participated in the whole mechanical testing process, and the customer showed that they found a motor that could really fit the project, and continued to place cooperative bulk orders, and the quantity is rising every year.

-Because Bringsmart has been insisting on stricter production standards, although the unit price of the 12v dc motors has increased a little bit, it reduces the customer's after-sales costs and improves the market's trust in the customer's brand, the customer said that overall, the cooperation with us has reduced their project costs by 10%.
